How Recipients are Selected

The Jeanette Rankin Foundation selects recipients between the months of March and May with final selection occurring in June 2020. Winners are chosen based on their reasons to attend college and what they plan to do with their education after graduation.

The scholarship is about giving women hope and financial strength to pursue their dreams. Women that are awarded the scholarship are working to fight poverty and make a difference in the world. More than 800 women have received the scholarship and have gone on to better the community.
